ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
In Agriculture and Natural Resources |
Why an EMANR Major?
This major is for University of Florida students who desire education in environmental management with substantial emphasis on agriculture. Farmers and those working with the agricultural community must be able to deal in an informed manner with an astonishing array of regulations and permitting requirements established by various agencies and jurisdictions. In addition, farmers must provide food and fiber to our growing population in an efficient and environmentally-sound manner. The EMA major is designed to integrate the mix of agricultural and environmental issues which need to be addressed in modern agriculture.
